Who Are We?

KAF | Center for Cultural Research and Activities , founded in August 2020, is an independent think tank based in Çanakkale that conducts cultural research and activities on various subjects, away from all political issues and influences, and focuses on people. KAF conducts studies only with academic instruments, away from all race, religion, sect and nationality discrimination within the framework of universal human values and ethics.

To conduct studies in the social and cultural fields by preparing reports, opinions, analyses, etc.
To realize national and international projects
Organizing various trainings and workshops in the cultural field
Conducting research and studies on the effects of irregular migration on cultures, the integration process of refugee and immigrant individuals to the places they go to, and the problems refugee and immigrant children face in their education.
To provide support and contribution to the research and researchers of the Battle of Gallipoli
To support cultural and academic research on various subjects by providing support to individuals from high school level to post-doctoral level through various projects and scholarship programs.
To support and contribute to the education of students in need

Transferring what is global to the local and what is local to the global
To research, learn and accurately convey the culture, history, literature and social structure of countries and nations within the framework of academic discipline and ethics.
To conduct studies on migration-culture relations, cultural effects and integration processes.

Supporting education

As a legal entity, the Kaf Cultural Research and Activities Center is not a party to any ideology, view or politics. It has adopted all universally accepted human values as a principle. It shows great sensitivity to respect for human dignity and fundamental human rights. Accordingly, it does not prioritize any ethnic/religious phenomenon over another, does not question value judgments, prioritizes what is humane and is interested in what belongs to culture, art, thought and academia.
Justice and objectivity are among our fundamental principles. It provides diversity of ideas by allowing individuals to express themselves within the framework of respect for human dignity and fundamental human rights, and prioritizes contributing to society with these new ideas.
KAF Cultural Research and Activities Center operates on a voluntary basis. Accordingly, it does not seek any benefit other than the benefit of society and academia in its activities within the scope of cultural, artistic, social and educational activities. In addition, it encourages volunteers to actively participate and take part in the activities.

Authors of works that have sent their works (articles, seminars, reports, etc.) to KAF Cultural Research and Activities Center are deemed to have transferred all rights over their works to Kaf Cultural Research and Activities Center as a legal entity from the moment they send their works to us. For each work done, as long as the basic principles are adhered to as mentioned above, the works are evaluated by our board, but the authors are responsible for the content of the writings and the ideas they defend. Kaf Cultural Research and Activities Center does not accept any responsibility.
The principle of transparency and questionability in all studies is important for the Kaf Cultural Research and Activities Center. Accordingly, all activities to be carried out are announced on the site, and each activity is recorded. In addition, announcements and advertisements of the studies carried out by the study owners can be made through various channels, especially social media, and then promotional films, collages or almanacs can be prepared from the available materials.

Parental Consent Form

As per the legal obligation, in order for our young friends under the age of 18 to participate in our activities or take part in the activities, they must fill out the "parental consent form" below and submit it to us before the event.
